Choosing a single city, town, or country as "My Place" would be akin to choosing one of my children over another. I was born in Long Island, New York, and lived there until my early teenage years. Since then, I have lived, studied, and worked in many different corners of the globe, including Kenya, and Liberia, the United Kingdom and Europe, the Caribbean, California, Connecticut, and New Mexico. I worked as an infectious research consultant for the Organization of American States in Brazil for five years and as Professor of Comparative Medicine and a photographer for the last twenty-seven years in Oman. In addition, I have spent considerable time photographing throughout the world, with some of my favorite places being India, Nepal, Indonesia, China, the Far and Middle East, South America, and Kenya, to name a few.

Home, to me, is where the heart finds peace. As a global nomad, my heart has resonated with the hearts of the people I have had the pleasure of spending considerable time with. Over the years, I have been fortunate to visit so many places, and in so many I have become a part of them and they a part of me. The world is too rich with wonders and fantastic people to limit myself to a single place.

Each location has left an indelible mark on my soul, from the vibrant streets of India, where every corner tells a story, to the serene landscapes of Nepal, where the mountains whisper ancient secrets. The bustling markets of the Middle East, filled with the aroma of spices and the hum of life, contrast with the tranquil beauty of the Caribbean's azure waters. In South America, the rhythm of life pulses through every dance and every smile, while in Kenya the vast savannahs and majestic wildlife remind me of nature's grandeur.

I have spent the last twenty-seven years in Oman, where I have found a unique blend of tradition and modernity. It is a place where the desert meets the sea and where the people have welcomed me with open arms. Each place I have lived and visited has contributed to the richness of my life, enriching it with diverse experiences and perspectives.

The world is full of wonders and fantastic people, and I have embraced this diversity. I am grateful for the opportunity to capture its beauty through my lens. My journey is a testament to the realization that home is not a single place but a collection of moments and memories spread across the globe.
